I finally got myself a tablet. Since I have a strong dislike for apple products (for no real reason at all), I needed to find something else that would do as a great drawing tool too. And I really liked the windows surface pro, which can also run games and stuff, making it a perfect companion for my trips home to Denmark. And it was half the original price, due to the pro 2 and 3 coming out. So far, I am very happy with it. You can get this free app for it, Fresh Paint, and it is really nice. It doesn't have layers in it, which isn't practical for making nice finished drawings, but for sketching and such it is everything you want it to be.

One of my cousins is having a daugther very soon, so I figured I would make her a gift. I have taught myself how to crochet a bit, so this was the obvious choice.

IRISS space mission logo competition

So in a little more than a year, this happens. A danish astronaut goes to space. And they made a competition for everyone to join, making a logo. The winner will be announced in October. I do not have high hopes, but this is one of those things... If I did not give it a go, I would regret it for the rest of my life. So here you are, my ideas.

She is one of my favourite Disney designs, Maleficent. the bottom picture is the first one I did. I think it is quite off model on the face. The top one is thesecond I did - and I think I did a lot better on everything.
