a small "do what you want with this character"-exercise. The character is not one of my characters, it was given by the school, probably from a poudriere co-production. It is made in Flash, this is my first own animation in this program.
The last two weeks, we did this short film. The premises were: We were three persons pr. group, e got two styles, an emotion and a random word. Our styles were Gary Baseman and disney 1928-1930, emotion was fear, random word wig. On this we had to make a story, make storyboards, character designs, backgrounds, colours, animation, sound, compositing, moodboards, a poster, planning... and finally get along in the group as well. It has been two very rough weeks, with a lot of work, late hours and stress. But the final result is something to be proud of.
I did Animation: Long shot of the snails, the fullshot of the snails eating and getting scared, the salt falling, the longshot of the snail and old lady. All of it rough animation, cleanup and colouring. Background: the background for the fullshot of the snails, a couple of just colour backgrounds. All the compositing, including finding and adding sounds.
